Final Post!

My final 'Hello' to you all ! 😓

I am ecstatic to say that i have finally finished my magazine and CCR!

Everything is set, edited, organized and polished.

The final magazine product is incredible! I can't wait to put it up so you can see it. The layout is pretty much how I described and drew out in one of the last magazine updates on March 22nd. I have about 9 pictures in the pages I will post on my blog. All original, taken by me of course. I wanted it to have as much visuals as possible, for your enjoyment. The information I put is also interesting. Like i mentioned before, the article on the magazine's two-page spread I will put on my blog is "pollution". There is abundant information on the topic everywhere! I used most of the links I attached to the blog post on March 24th.
I used the website "flipsnack.com", which sadly doesn't give me the option to download a PDF of my magazine, but, I am able to and will attach a link in which you guys will be able to click on and see the final magazine project. I will also attach regular images of screenshotted pictures of it (just in case).

My CCR is a radio broadcast. Luckily, everything worked out perfectly! My father ended up helping me record because it was easier to adjust to each others schedules. He plays the radio talk show usual spokesperson and I play a guest speaker. After being welcomed I introduce myself and answer some "audience questions" on the show.
After recording, for editing, I mostly used iMovie on my Mac. I believe it was more professional and  had a wide variety of options to better the recording, not to mention how clear the sound is.
I am extremely proud of the final product, and hope you love it as much as I do.
I will post both final products this coming week!

Finally, I just want to say how thankful I am for this experience. I really enjoyed blogging and writing about my passion: the environment.

Remember your span of eco-friendly options and all that i have mentioned. IF YOU DO forget, google it. Look up alternatives and take some action! It's way more simple than you think.

Love our Earth, it's the only one we have!

Magazine: Final Changes & Pictures!

Hi everyone!

Now that I am back in school, and have an approaching deadline, I will be putting in much time and effort on this project.

I took many pictures in New York City. I went to Times Square and shot many there. I will attach some below and put 2-3 on my magazine.

Even though the weather was not helping me because it was pouring, I successfully edited the pictures on my phone and they came out fantastic and lively with many colors. I used apps such as “ColorStory” and “PicsArt” which are free on the App Store.

Here are even more pictures I took in the city! So beautiful! I got the chance to go on the "One World Trade Center" building located on the Lower-West side of the city. The views were CLEARLY amazing.

I decided to take these pictures for my project because I want to compare environments: cities vs nature, or something of that sort (which i have already mentioned in one of my last postings). Not necessarily with a negative connotation, but rather just stating their differences and impacts on our planet.

Luckily, I started my work early. All I have to do is attach these pictures to my magazine and it done and ready to publish on my blog.

I am so excited for the final products...

Thank you all for keeping up with my blog!
Have an amazing week!!

Update & Final Ideas (CCR)

Hey guys!

I have already started my CCR and I’m planning to work mostly on iMovie.
I will answer the project’s required questions, along with some creative ones of my own. After I finish deciding sound, which I will work on today, I will get together with my friend to record on Wednesday.

The radio stations name is going to be “eco-cast”. I chose this name because it’s an environmental station. I decided to make one up because I haven’t been able to hear back from any actual radio stations, so I had to get creative.

The CCR will be about or less than 5 minutes. I will also casually throw in some fun facts like I do on my blog and will try to make myself more appealing to the listeners.

I hope you all had a great weekend and break!

Magazine update and CCR plans!

Good Morning everyone!

Hope everyone has had an amazing week.
After 9 days in DC and NYC I miss my warm, Florida life. I've been freezing all week with an average of 35-40° F!

Anyways, let me fill you in on my project.
This week i have gotten about a thousand pictures! I cannot wait to look over and share them with you guys.
I will be using them for my project. My magazine will contain many of these pictures in the table of contents, and throughout the two-page spreads.

I think most of what I primarily came up with, has been able to go through. Which I am so grateful for because I was really convinced this was the best plan. My magazine had some changes in pictures and layouts but my overall idea stuck, so that is amazing.

On the other hand, there is also my Creative Critical Reflection (CCR). A CCR is a reflection on the work I have completed.
I have chosen to do my reflection as a voice recording. I will be using a voice recorder on my phone and various apps such as "Voice Changer- Celebrity Emoji", "Voice Changer +" and "Voice Changer, Sound Recorder and Player".

Not to mention my laptop. I will be using the normal iMovie and voice memos apps on my laptop to make my CCR unbelievable!!

It won't just be a voice recording, with these apps, i will be able to make it seem like a radio broadcast. I will be on a radio station (I haven't come up with the name yet) as if I was getting interviewed and questioned on my blog and other accomplishments. I am so excited for this part. I will ask around; my friends and parents to see who is going to have the patience to help me out with this, and interview me.

I hope you all like my ideas. Thank you all for the support and e-mails.

Like I always say, any questions or concerns on my posts and/or ideas, feel free to contact me via e-mail or comment below.
